Hi, I'm Shrushti, the founder and nail artist behind Powder & Polish Co.
For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to nail art. I still remember spending hours admiring intricate designs and recreating them whenever I had the chance. What began as a creative hobby at 13 years old has grown into a career I feel incredibly grateful to call my own.
Taking the leap to become a licensed nail technician has been one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made. Today, I have the privilege of combining creativity with craftsmanship to help my clients feel confident, polished, and completely themselves.

At Powder & Polish Co., every appointment is intentionally reserved just for you. I want your time in the studio to feel like your own little escape—a moment to slow down, relax, and enjoy some well-deserved “me time” while your nails get the attention they deserve.
These policies help keep the studio running smoothly while creating a peaceful, comfortable environment where every client can unwind and enjoy their experience.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following studio policies.
Appointments & Booking
Appointments are available during regular studio hours of 9:00 AM–7:00 PM.
Need something earlier or later? Appointments outside regular studio hours may be available upon request for an additional convenience fee, subject to availability.
Please book all desired services—including nail art, extensions, repairs, and removals—when scheduling your appointment. This ensures enough time is reserved to create your desired look without rushing your experience.
Booking Deposit
A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and can be sent via Zelle or Venmo.
Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service. Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
By submitting your booking deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the Powder & Polish Co. Studio Policies.
If you need to reschedule and provide at least 24 hours' notice, your deposit may be transferred one time to your new appointment.
Cancellations, rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. A new $20 deposit will be required to book another appointment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens, and sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
With at least 24 hours' notice, your booking deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, your deposit will be forfeited and a new $20 deposit will be required to book another appointment.
No-Shows
Appointments missed without notice are considered no-shows.
Your $20 booking deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required before another appointment can be scheduled.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in the loss of future booking privileges.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time so you can enjoy your full appointment and never feel rushed during your time in the studio.
A 10-minute grace period is provided. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may require your service to be shortened or modified depending on the remaining appointment time.
If there is no longer enough time to safely and properly complete your service, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. In this case, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
Nail Art & Inspiration
Inspiration photos are always welcome and encouraged!
All inspiration photos must be sent at least 12 hours before your appointment. This gives me time to review your desired design and prepare any necessary tools, products, colors, or materials needed to
bring your vision to life.
Every nail artist has their own creative style, so inspiration photos will be used as a reference rather than a guarantee of an exact recreation.
Nail art pricing varies depending on the design, complexity, length, embellishments, and time required. Please book the appropriate nail art option in advance whenever possible.
Removals
Please let me know when booking if you currently have gel, Gel-X, hard gel, extensions, or another enhancement that needs to be removed.
Removal of products applied by another nail technician may require additional time and may incur a separate removal fee.
For the health of your natural nails, please do not peel or forcibly remove enhancements before your appointment.
Repairs
I want you to love your nails!
If you experience lifting, chipping, or another issue that appears to be related to the application, please contact me within 5 days of your appointment. Qualifying application-related repairs will be corrected at no additional charge.
Repairs needed due to accidental damage, breakage, picking, improper care, or normal wear and tear may be subject to a repair fee.
Refunds
Due to the time, products, and personalized nature of each service, completed nail services are non-refundable.
If you have a concern with your service, please contact me within the 5-day repair period so I have the opportunity to assess and correct the issue when appropriate.
Nail Health & Safety
Your health and safety come first.
Services may be modified, postponed, or declined if there are signs of infection, open wounds, contagious conditions, or anything else that could make the service unsafe for you or the artist.
If you are unsure whether a nail or skin condition may affect your appointment, please reach out before booking.
Guests & Children
Your appointment is meant to be your time—a chance to step away from the day, unwind, and enjoy a little self-care without distractions.
To preserve the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the studio, additional guests and children are not permitted unless they are also receiving a scheduled service.
Please plan accordingly before your appointment, as the studio is unable to accommodate anyone who is not receiving a service.
Minors
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their appointment.
The parent or guardian must remain present for the duration of the minor's service.
Respectful & Relaxing Studio Environment
Powder & Polish Co. is designed to be a welcoming, peaceful space where you can unwind, relax, and enjoy a little “me time.”
Whether you want to chat, listen to music, or simply sit back and enjoy a quiet moment, I want your appointment to feel like a small escape from the everyday.
To protect that experience for everyone, kindness and mutual respect are always expected. Disrespectful, threatening, discriminatory, inappropriate, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the appointment being ended and future booking privileges being declined.
Photos & Social Media
I love showing off beautiful sets! Photos or videos of your nails may occasionally be taken for my portfolio, website, or social media.
If you prefer that your nails not be photographed or shared, please let me know. Your preference will always be respected.
